Bastrop Last Standing A trail ultra at Lake Bastrop South Shore Park One loop. One hour. Do it again. And again. And again. The Big Bastrop Backyard Ultra is a last-person-standing trail ultra on the rolling single-track of Lake Bastrop South Shore Park. Every hour on the hour, runners depart the start line and must complete a 4.16-mile loop before the next hour begins. Miss the cutoff on any loop and you’re eliminated.
