Rondane Backyard Ultra

Set on the doorstep of Rondane National Park, Norway’s first national park , this course winds through a peaceful wilderness of open pine forests, crystal-clear lakes, and terrain shaped by the last Ice Age. Runners follow gravel roads, forest trails, and tractor tracks around Kroktjønna and several smaller lakes, surrounded by carpets of white reindeer lichen and ancient glacial kettle holes left behind by retreating ice sheets thousands of years ago.
