Markoton Backyard Ultra
Welcome to the first Markoton Backyard Ultra , held in the flat agricultural region of Markovci in northeastern Slovenia. The format is simple: Every hour, on the hour, runners start a new 6.7 km (4.167 mile) loop. Finish within 60 minutes, and you earn the right to continue. Fail to do so, or fail to be in the start corral at the bell, and your race ends. The event continues until only one runner remains — the Last One Standing .
