Austria Backyard Ultra – Thüringen/Vbg

The Backyard Ultra route starts south of the center of the municipality of Thüringen. The first 500 m are flat and run through a quiet residential area. After that, the route descends steadily but almost imperceptibly by about 40 meters . From the halfway point, it climbs steadily back up towards the start/finish area. The surface is paved throughout. About one-third of the route runs through shady forest , with the rest through open fields with views of the surrounding mountain panorama.
