Austria Backyard 7+1 – Kirchdorf/Tyrol
What is Austria Backyard 7+1? It runs the same course as Austria Backyard Ultra. See below for details on the route. Austria Backyard 7+1 starts 30 minutes after ABU so that runners do not meet and support each other on the course. Unlike the ABU, the first seven laps/yards (=marathon) of the AB7+1 are run in the usual Backyard Ultra mode. The eighth lap is the final lap for everyone. The fastest runner in the eighth lap is the winner! The lap times in the first seven yards do not count towards the final result. The race ends for all participants after the eighth yard.
